2009 was a great year for indie pop music. This is possibly the only album I've heard that is more uplifting than Fang Island's self-titled (which I have to post). When I say indie pop, I don't so much mean The Shins as I mean showtunes with the lyrical sentiments of indie music. The arrangements alone are addicting, but Nate Ruess' vocals really make the album. You won't be disappointed.
