What can I say about this album that the band, the fans and the critical establishment have not already? This is just as good as they all believe. The textures and restraint shown on the songs was far beyond what anybody suspected the band could do, even though OK Computer put them on the map as one of the greats. Never has there been such a great combination of artistic progress, tasteful experimentation, great songwriting, and genuine pathos. Anyone who has listened to this album can tell you that it is like no other. Loved by many, hated by the deaf who will never know its greatness, this is a completely unique and mind-changing album that will stand the test of time. Not recommended as an intro to Radiohead though.
